Gluten Free White Chocolate Hedgehog Slice

This delicious gluten free white chocolate hedgehog slice is a subtle twist on the traditional dark chocolate hedgehog slice. Made with gluten free chocolate scotch finger biscuits and topped with white chocolate and walnuts, this no bake slice is the perfect treat to satisfy those chocolate cravings. Enjoy!


330g (2x 165g packs) Gluten Free Chocolate Scotch Finger Biscuits 

½ cup Desiccated Coconut

½ cup Walnuts (roughly chopped)

2 tablespoons Cocoa powder

150g Dark Chocolate

110g Butter

330g Sweetened Condensed Milk


260g White chocolate

1 tablespoon Vegetable oil 

Extra walnuts to decorate (optional)


Line a baking tin with baking paper and set aside. 

Place the scotch fingers in a sealed snap lock bag and break into a mixture of small and medium sized pieces. Then roughly chop the walnuts, so that they are no longer whole.  

Place the broken biscuits, desiccated coconut, walnuts and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl and mix together. 

Melt the dark chocolate, butter and sweetened condensed milk together in a medium sized saucepan and use a kitchen whisk to mix together. 

Once melted, pour into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until everything has been combined. 

Then pour the hedgehog slice into the lined baking tray, and smooth out the tops with the back of a spatula. 

Place the slice into the fridge to set for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, start on the white chocolate topping. 

To make the topping, melt the white chocolate then add in the vegetable oil. Stir until the vegetable oil has been mixed through the white chocolate. 

Remove the hedgehog base from the fridge, then pour over the melted white chocolate and top with walnuts (optional). 

Place the slice into the fridge for 1 hour. Once set, remove the slice from the tin and slice. Enjoy!
